Energy Flexibility Services (EFS) are digital services for the optimized operation of sites including on-site generation, consumption and storage systems (so-called assets), with the objective of reducing energy cost and CO2 emissions over the whole site. EFS acts as a higher-level energy management system using AI-based optimization algorithms, processing measured values, load and generation forecasts, dynamic energy prices and the parameters of the connected technical systems. The optimization targets can be classified into the use cases: Network Charge Reduction, Self-Consumption Optimization, Day-Ahead Optimization
